Letters 608-691    Volume 6 God's Word (2000/ 9/7 18:40~2000/ 10/15 06:40)

I, the omnipotent Jehovah, know everything!

From the 642nd letter (September 20. 2000, 16:45)

I, the omnipotent Jehovah, knows what you need and what you must do. When you meet the qualifications and become a top student, I will give you the prize.

When you ask for something or for someone in your prayers, you outline all this, phrase by phrase, as if you were investing all your love, sincerity, and service in the affairs of the World. And you think that if your prayer reaches Heaven and everything is fulfilled that all the peace and wealth requested are given directly to all of you. However, you must know the prayer that you say disappears like breath the moment it comes out of your mouth. You humans must know that I know you a hundred and a thousand times better than you do. And everything is being done through My reign. Nevertheless, you are arrogant and dare to request something of Me while refusing to acknowledge your lowly positions and questionable behaviors.

I manage all things in this World and My creations according to My Plan, and they live according to My Will. But asking to save someone according to your will or crying out for something is the same as ordering Jehovah God to revise His Plan. Since this is the same as daring to defy Me, Jehovah, what will be your punishment after committing these sins when you come to Me.

Others’ rice bowls look bigger!

From the 660th letter (October 1st, 2000, 07:00)

There is a saying that ‘My bowl looks small, and others’ big.’ This is a

common expression in human psychology.

If you own something, you can freely take and use it as little or as much as you want and you should have a good idea of how valuable it is. No matter how splendid and good for others' possessions look, your possessions are better for you. Those who do not appreciate the value of their own things tend to covet those of their neighbors. It is your greed, selfishness, pride, and desire to show off that leads you to act in this way.

First you must learn to stay on the right path yourself. Do not lie or deviate from this right path. Do not covet others' things and give up any thoughts that others are bigger and better. This is the basis for controlling your mind.

Depends on ‘taming’!

From the 671st letter (October 7, 2000, 06:45)

There is a saying that ‘habits depend on being ‘tamed’. Depending on people’s self-discipline, on how hard they try to successfully ‘tame’ their activities, all these activities become easier or more difficult.  Sleeping and waking up, eating, acting, sitting, and standing up all depend on taming. So, from now on, set a goal and plan now to tame and govern your mind along a straight and righteous path.
